Studios are getting more and more popular these days. And Song Xiewei is among the first group who set up studios in China. Now, he is still engaged in the design work in his studios.
Born in 1963 in Shandong Province, he studied at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing from 1987. After graduation, Song remained at the university as a practising artist and teacher to found what amounts to a new school of design.
