BEFORE I met him, I never believed in "falling in love at first sight". But when I first saw him, I felt a marvelous, compelling thrill. At that moment, I thought maybe he was the one for me.
A bicycle brought us together. We met at a weekend in March , a season filled with bright sunshine and a gentle breeze. That day, I went to visit one of my old friends at another university in our city. Since the weather was beautiful, I suggested we go to visit other colleges nearby. She agreed and proposed going by bike and borrowed two bikes from her schoolmates. I didn't know how to ride a bike though I had always wanted to. Her schoolmate kindly agreed to give me a ride for the outing. He was gentle and wore a white shirt. I can still remember his bright smile. Sitting on the back of his bicycle, I talked to him and asked a few questions and learned his name. He rode very hard and soon we arrived at the destination. I thanked him and watched him as he rode away. I wanted to see him again.
